Migrant Pride, Trans Pride

2026

As part of Pride Month activities, Alianza Americas hosted a special screening of La Perla Victoria: Desde un Corazón Trans (La Perla Victoria: From a Trans Heart), followed by a conversation with community leaders and organizations working for the rights and well-being of trans migrants.

The dialogue addressed the challenges faced by trans migrants, as well as the role of care, community, and solidarity in building spaces of safety and belonging.

If you were unable to join us live, we invite you to watch the full recording and join this important conversation about identity, migration, resilience, and collective care.

Panelists

  • Victoria Castro, T4T Empowerment
  • Anna Castro, Transgender Law Center
  • Sol Jiménez Palacios, Familia TQLM

Moderator

  • Alex Córdova, LILA LGBTQ Inc.
