As part of Somos Comunidad, Alianza Americas developed this webinar with Juan Pablo Ramaciotti, executive director of the Center for Migration Policy, who shared and explored strategies for the inclusion of migrants, with an emphasis on the key role of local governments.

During the session, Juan Pablo presented a comprehensive approach to migrant inclusion, addressing the fundamental dimensions of public policy, the main challenges facing inclusion processes, and the criteria for evaluating their effectiveness, based on examples and lessons learned from the Chilean context.

The session was moderated by Lena O'Rourke of the Protecting Immigrant Families Coalition.

‍

This dialogue reinforced the importance of local governments, in coordination with civil society, promoting policies that foster the effective inclusion of migrants and strengthen social cohesion in their communities.
