What we need to know about Parole in Place and the application process

Starting this Monday, August 19, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will begin accepting applications for “Parole in Place,” a mechanism to grant permission to stay in the country for spouses of U.S. citizens without having to leave the country.
