For more than 70 years, the international system for protecting refugees has represented a global commitment to human rights and dignity. However, recent political decisions have seriously jeopardized this structure, leaving millions of people in extremely vulnerable situations. 

On World Refugee Day, we invite you to participate in the virtual seminar “The erosion of international protection,” organized by Alianza Americas, Refugees International, We Are All America, and Sin Fronteras to analyze recent U.S. financial cuts to the global refugee protection system, their regional implications, and the key role of civil society.
